ID:	65293I have a 97 tomas built bus, the light switch is melted on the inside so i want to move its location and change to another style of 3 point rocker switch. I have been searching online for wiring schematics and on here but having no luck. Just trying to understand what each pin is.

It looks like there's a rheostat built into that switch. Is this for interior lights? Did it originally work by pulling to turn on, push for off, and twist to dim? If so, you'll lose that dimming capability by changing to a rocker switch, but would mean that the wiring will be different (simpler?) than original. Also, were all of the pins on that switch used, or only some? It's probably too late, but I'd recommend labelling the wires to remember where they were attached on the old switch.

Sorry I have only questions for you and no answer.

Yes it has a rheostat, but i dont need that, just trying to make it simpler. 7 pins are used on it. I still have the plug and wires all together. The wires are numbered but i don't have a schematic on what each number goes to. Just seeing if anyone has the info that i need to make it a little quicker. If not i will bring my multi meter home and play around after work

That switch looks a lot like this one: Cole Hersee 71092-02

If that's the right switch, then I think post #3 on this JalopyJournal forum thread has a diagram that explains each wire. These are all guesses, but hopefully they're helpful.
