Loss of power at POS bus bar

97 GMC bluebird 3116 cat, I was using interior stock lights the other night and the following morning, I then tried to start the bus and it sounded like a dead battery. Then the interior lights stopped working and all the lights in the instrument cluster stopped illuminating, Well I always have a tender on the batteries, so that's not the issue. And I've never had a start problem. The POS bus bar has power until I turn the key to the on position. The horn was even weak sounding. The batteries are good now the horn won't even work. There's no power at the selenoid under the left control panel. Any thoughts?

Are you *SURE* your batteries are still good and fully charged? How are the battery connections and cables?

100 percent on battery condition, not certain on the connections. When I say not certain, I haven't taken them out and cleaned them. I can't imagine my horn not even working or the idiot lights on the dash not lighting up.

I have had aged batteries that would show ~13v charge (full) but lack any power reserve, let alone enough to start anything. I have also had battery connections get corroded enough to drop the voltage to less than 5, or even none.

Batteries are golden! Connections are good! Any other thoughts? I remember to put gas in the tank and I always make sure the tires have air in them. So the obvious things are taken care of.

Could be a bad solenoid.
