Reading lights

So I ordered from Amazon these little flexible goose neck reading lights, three weeks to show up and today is install day. Dismantle the bed and run new wiring, fish all that up through the headboard and get it all wired up and “Boom” one light not working. Scream, yell, say some nasty words then go get a cocktail and start ripping it apart. So a wire came off inside the light, maybe in shipping, maybe at the factory. Out comes the solder gun and get it back together, it’s now 11:00 pm and that’s a 12 hour day for two simple little lights. No wonder these bus builds take years.3D395ABB-D0E8-45A5-AC93-8BEA848E7DA2.jpg

Stay safe

I'm on day 3 mounting an aluminum "Joe Camper" ladder on the back of mine. The roof's not level, I I have to add steel plates inside to backup the hardware, spray foam in the way.... I bought it and it's getting mounted at all costs

I'm on like day 10 of my stupid little skylight hatch. I'm hoping to have it done before winter comes.

They are Amazon lights, they were a little pricey but I'm happy with the quality even considering the loose wire. They are three stage dimming with touch switch and have a usb charger port in the base.
