Sorry ment to add that fuses are all good. Also the stepwell light works fine when I open the door. I was thinking some safety interlock issue may be going on. Do they only get power with the door open ? I can add power to the switch not a problem.. Just tring to figure out why there not working as is switch test good..

normally an interlock does not effect the lighting.
but some fuse might do more than what they are labled for?
one of my buses have three fuse boxes and most of my lighting is powered from one of the bus body fuse boxes but my turn signals are powered from the chevy fuse box under the hood on a fuse labled ignition E?
took awhile to figure that one out.
maybe run a known good hot wire to the switch and see if they power on and if so you know its between the fuse and the switch.

I tend to have the same problem when I use my Ipad...start typing a post and then BAM...asks me to login again, losing my post!
