Fair question. The A/C units were huge and I wanted control over the space and layout.
The bus still starts, but the line from the secondary fuse box (in front, right of the driver) when disconnected from this relay unit would shoot sparks when it touched the chassis. Huge hazard. So it needs to connect back up to this unit somehow.
I do think you’re right about the starter wire heading to the BAT terminal on the unit though; thank you.
