Post Removal of all extra body wiring

I have a 2008 international RE300. I removed all extra circuits on panel to get me down to all the original bus wiring. Everything that is for mechanical portion is still intact. All the vandalock stuff is removed that I could find. But it seems that there may be something inline maybe a relay or something that needs to also be removed. Just need to find what is left of the system that would stop the bus from running. If anyone has any insight that would be wonderful ! Thank you !

The only thing I would add is when you go to cutting wires, make sure the bus is running. That way you'll know immediately how important that wire was.

No, it won’t tell you if you have power to the starter solenoid and it won’t tell you if lights work. You need a checklist to go through every time you cut a wire

I think it will also not help with the starter interlock, which only prevents the bus from starting but will not suddenly stop the bus if you clip the wire (I'm not sure though, as I've never tried it).

The emphasis was on "the bus not running" , not the bus not starting.

You have an RE, have you tried starting it from the rear key switch?

What tranny do you have?

If I try starting my RE amtran with the rear selector switch set to OFF, when I try the front key switch the led on the trans push pad will not light up and all you hear is the click of a relay.

Try starting it from the rear to see what results you get.

Also, please fill out your user profile so we all know what kind of bus you got and oh,

Please don’t cut or remove any more wires until you gone thru reading at least 500 posts on this very same topic.

It will help you out…. a lot!

I found this file containing wiring diagrams for your bus.
I am not sure if you will find what you need but I am happy to share!
