Skoolie Fam!
Recently I noticed my battery settings were incorrect in my Victron Battery Montior settings for my Renogy 100ah Lifepo4 batteries. I had the incorrect max charge current and charge voltage.
Since resetting to the manual specifications - the batteries seem to be charging much slower than they used to - i havent been able to get up to 100% the past 2 days and it has me stressed.
I've uploaded photos of my BMS settings and homescreen, as well as Solar Charger homescreen and settings.
System Specs:
3x 100ah Renogy Lifepo4 Batteries
4x 200w Solar Panels
Victron MPPT 150/70-TR Ve.Can
Vicrton Smart Battery Monitor BMV-712
I'm completey new to solar, and everything seemed to be working fine until a few weeks ago. We were plugged into shore power for a while, and when we unplugged I noticed the MPPT was no longer entering "Float" state. Upon further research I found this is normal for LiFePo4 batteries, they often dont "float" . . in my research I discovered the wrong settings were entered in my BMS and MPPT systems - once corrected I noticed a huge slow-down in charging speed of the batteries.
I am in full sun right now and the charge is barely going up.
Any solar wizards have time to lend some knowledge?? Trying to do as much research as possible but sometimes conversation is more helpful than reading 5 year old blogs from DIYSolar forums ;)
Any and all help is much appreciated
