I can say with full confidence that a full LED conversion is totally worth it. Even(/especially!) the lights in the dash or behind buttons. Huge difference.

I was just thinking about this topic after I washed my bus for the first time and it seems the logic easy answer is to swap the front Reds to the rear and the rear Amber's to the front. Easy peasyClick image for larger version

We replaced our front and back flashers with led flood lights. Super bright and not too expensive.

Just be fair warned that the original incandescent bulbs (I'm assuming they aren't LED's) will draw a *LOT* of current and the existing wiring may get warm if used for more than a few seconds. The lights were intended to flash, not stay on continuously. LED's draw a lot less current, and shouldn't be a problem.
