I havent gotten to the electrical of my bus yet so I havent studied much on the subject...can you tell me a quick bit of what this is about?

The original question was whether to run a ground cable to the battery from the negative post on an inverter, or just connect to the chassis. I had made a point about possibly unstable connections using the body/ground circuit.

Those pix show what can happen when the ground leg isnt stable. Who can check every chassis ground connection? Leave the chassis ground for running lights and car stereos, hook the high amperage stuff up cable-direct.

Yes, I agree. I have always ran ground cables back to the battery on something of a high amp nature. Thanks!
