Victron Cyrix LI-CT
Hello all, have a Cyrix li-ct between the start and house batteries.
I don’t have a BMS nor Victron batteries, this q is about the Cyrix.
Previously I had it connected with the red wire to hot and the ground wire to a switch to turn it on or off so I could disconnect the alternator from charging the house batteries if I wanted. However, this did not provide me with the emergency start feature.
So I put the black on ground and put the red on a switch then to ground as in the diagram.
Now it doesn’t close in either switch position.
The manual is pathetic. The drawing is clear but it doesn’t work.
This is designed to open at >16v and <12.8 (or something close) so it protects against over-charging and discharge.
Any ideas here?
