Victron vs ?....

I'm about to order many of the parts for my solar system, and I've read all the reviews and recommendations regarding Victron components. I'm not against them or anything (because I have literally no personal experience with any of these items), but are they actually worth the premium? The main components I'm picking up are below:

(2) Victron 100/20 MPPT...I'm open to suggestions but these seem like the way I'll go no matter what.
(1) Victron 12/12-30 DC-DC...This one seems like a no-brainer for me so this part will stay no matter what.
(1) Victron 500a SmartShunt...$130 for a shunt?
(1) Victron 700 (or 712?) monitor...should I bother if everything is BlueTooth?
(1-2) Victron Lynx Distributors...are these really worth it vs "normal" bus bars and breakers/fuses? Only 4 slots per Lynx and by my count, I'll need at least 5.

Non-Victron (any reason to spend the $ and get Victron here too?)
(1) Xantrex XC 2000 Inverter/Charger
(1) Xantrex Remote Panel

Thanks all!

I didn't have much luck with Victron inverter/chargers. Never had a Xantrex. Happy with Magnum.

I was looking at victron for the easy integration of their inverter/chargers with solar chargers and generator start functions. Also there gx products have inputs for tank monitors and temperature sensors. They are expensive though.

I think you could use a less expensive distribution than the lynx. If you go with the whole lynx distribition system it includes a shunt for battery monitoring. It looks like you can add as many distribution modules as needed. This system was designed for large boats with large electric systems.

You probly need a single distribution, breaker / fuse box for your DC distribution. Blue sea systems make some nice breaker panels.
