We've got the WF-8930/50, which appears to be the little sister to the 8955. Ours doesn't have a charger, as our inverter/charger takes care of that job. It was fairly simple to install....just had to follow the directions!

i used a wfco distribution box... no charger and it was fine.
later on, i saw some Blue Sea dc power stuff and it was much higher quality. i have since been using their power blocks.
