What the heck is this switch?

Hey, gang:

I've been trying to figure out what this switch is about since I first bought my bus. Here's what I can tell you about it:
  • It's located under the center dashboard, between the radio/gearshift/ignition panel and the front heater/defogger.
  • It's not actually mounted to anything, and is not reachable from the driver's seat.
  • It's a momentary switch, it does not stay in position when it's actuated, but springs back to 'normal'.
Bus is a 2008 International PB105, with a VT365 Engine.

My next step is going to be to see if I can find a number on the wires connected to it and then look for it in the wiring diagrams I have for this bus, but I thought I'd do a quick ask here and see if anyone else knew what this is about off the top of their head.

looks almost like its connected to the wires that wouldve gone to the 'Diag' button which triggers the computer to read its codes out when in Key on engine off... homemade version though...
