Wig wags?

We want to change the red & amber wig wags on the front of the bus to steady white lights. Is it better to rewire the existing or run new wiring to a new toggle switch?

Correction: Not the wig wags, the emergency flashers.

I thought a wig wag was a low air-pressure warning device like this: https://www.buspartswarehouse.com/9802. I think you're talking about the flashers.

You're right. They are the emergency flasher lights up at the top. I don't remember who told me they were called "wig wags".

I believe that is a no-can-do for an over the road vehicle. Check your state's vehicle regs.
