12V Water pump for fresh water?

I am wondering what size 12V pump would be good for the shower & one sink? I have a NOS 12V Oster pump that pumps 2.5GPM. Not familiar with what size pump I should be looking for or if the Oster will be sufficient...

Re: 12V Water pump for fresh water?

I forget what size pump I have, but it's one of the smallest. 2.5gpm should be plenty as long as you don't plan on using more than one thing at a time. I.e. if you're taking a shower and someone flushes, uses the sink, etc. there'll be a noticeable drop in pressure. Just make sure everyone knows water is off-limits while showering, and you should be fine. If someone uses the toilet, bathroom sink, etc. while you're trying to wash some dishes, it'd just be a minor annoyance, no biggie.
