Just went out to measure the bus. Looks like 26" fits between the frame rails and the u-bolts. Cross member framing is 32" apart with the last section near the diff being 52". There's an air compressor there tho. My fuel tank is 60 gallons with lots of room both in front of and behind it for a larger fuel tank. I'd like to have a 100 gallons someday oneday. There are at least 3 cross members behind the tank; meaning there is room for at least 96" of water storage in whatever color. All of this is between the frame rails. There's still the outboard storage. 30" from the skirt to the rails. I want to use some of this for additional storage lockers but there should be plenty of room for both lockers and tanks. I forgot to measure how deep the frame rails are but they are at least 9". Even at that, there would only be 15" of tank below the frame. The storage lockers are 25" below. Plenty of ground clearance left!!

I'm trying to find this on amazon. Can you tell me where to buy it? Would you place this right underneath the sink?

It would be hard plumbed to the sink and possibly shower. It wouldn't go under a sink unless I'm missing something.

Gravity Flow Interior Gray Tanks :::
I am currently full time in a Lance truck camper and the gray tank is outside of the box & way up high just above the elevation of the truck bed sides. I'm getting ready to purchase my first bus and move up in life and thinking that the gray tank inside is a really great idea. Much easier to work up the install I would think. The higher elevation on my camper tanks make that waste tumble out of there in a hurry when I open the valve. That being said, would it not be suggested to mount the interior tank on a slightly raised assembly and simply drop a hole through the bus floor and utilize gravity to move the waste down to the dump assembly below as usual...

You would need an arrangement that allowed the grey water to be collected, then pumped into the elevated tank.
Most do use gravity, to drain the waste into the tank.
With Skoolie conversions, there is an abundance of space under the bus floor just begging for tanks to be installed, and it keeps the weight down low.

Ah yes weight! I was not thinking like an engineer. For bodies in motion, lower center of G is always better.
