Years ago i drove a 51 Chevy 2 ton truck that had a 2000 gallon tank with diesel in it.1 st time!! Dumb kid i was charged up to the turn in the driveway. I turned and it went up on 3 wheels on the drivers side. Didn't turn over but scared me real good and you should have seen the face on my boss that was right behind me.

Since you are a Newbie i think to advise you that you don't drive a bus the same as a car. Just a hump in the road for a car is like a jump off a ramp at times for a bus. You can bounce everyone off the roof very easily.

Ask us lots of question and read all the posts you can. Welcome.

I like versatility. I am using a TRANSFER PUMP. With my pump i have water in the bus, i can fill my tank from a well or spring and it will lift it 15 ft at the inlet. Much more on outlet side. I tank use the pump and pump from a well etc and then directly into a horse trough etc. or to have water for whatever reason.

You will have to try and find a Utility Supply type store in your area (not box store) Or a plumbing supply business.

The bigger 8" and up is used in city infrastructure, or commercial buildings, not really residential.
