Covering pex

So I just air pressure tested my pex plumbing and I’m not debating how to design some storage compartments under my bed. I will probably store clothes in these areas, ie soft things. My question is is it best to cover the pex so that it (and some wires) are covered and protected from whatever is in the storage compartments, or should I keep them accessible for service in the future?

do both.. put something down as a false floor over it but make it easily removeable.. maybe its multipl slide in panels or something held in with wing nuts etc.. that way you have a bottom for your storage drawers but can also get to the pex if needed.. (ie lift up the mattress, take out the drawerrs, lift false bottom and access..).. chances are you wont need access all the time. but it does suck if you build over and then have to drill and cut (and repair said drill and cut ). to repair something

PEX is pretty tough. Maybe really sharp sheet metal edge is something to worry about. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. The wires on the other hand are more at risk.
