The RV industry puts the dump valve on the drivers side as that is how 99% of dump stations are set up. Having said that, we used to have a 5th wheel that had the black and grey water tanks on the passengers side with the dump valve on the drivers side.

I followed what the RV's companies are doing since RV parks and dump stations etc are all set up for that location,

So all of my dumps and water and electric hooks up are in the left (drivers side) very rear. You can put your tank anywhere you want just as long as you can plumb a 3" drain line at the right angle with a gate valve, you should be golden.

FWIW AZ sate parks have dump stations that are ambidextrous.

I think you just inverted my planned layout.

You can also just snake the slinky under the bus to the other side....that's what I do with my greywater. I'm not sure if that would work with a black tank though, since we don't have one. I pulled the wrong way into an ambidextrous one and got shamed by someone that pulled in from the other direction.

Yeah, little bit of a problem. Then I thought I’d go back to the cassette toilet plan. Then I was looking at BLM stuff and came across LTVA site rules that say minimum 10 gallon waste tank is required.

I think I’m going to run it to the back

Thanks all
