That must be quite the job draining that grey tank when the plumbing enters at the lowest point, especially after this "it" guy has been using the sink as a urinal.

Hmmm, well im not worried about plumbing yet. But i can understand free over paying for stuff. And question. Can you vent multiple sinks/shower together? Should the vent pipe be wrapped in something to prevent condensation breathing?

Yes one can use a common vent for multiple fixtures. It needs to be sized "appropriately." Normally (I believe) 1-1/2" ABS would not pass inspection in a real building as a multi-fixture common vent, but surely in a bus it's adequate for venting both the shower and sink. Some people squeeze their vent down to 3/4 or even 1/2 PEX, but personally I don't like any risk of drains being slow, so I wouldn't go that small with a vent.
Several unspoken variables play into the sizing: is the vent also releasing air from the holding tank as water goes in, or is it only breaking the vacuum so that water rushing down the drain doesn't suck the P trap dry? Is there a P trap at all, or is a hepvo valve used instead? Etc.

use "hepvo" waterless p traps.
they are self venting..... simplifies everything
my waste tank is vented with 1/2" pex.....never been an issue or smell

I thought these jokes about "it" were from a long time ago. This stuff is current. I don't think this individual reads his own posts. Quite the word smith.
There are additional plumbing efforts that also have reducers so the fluids go through a transparent piece of tubing. Also a translucent barrel supported by chains mounted under the bus.
Is it still polite to rinse a sink after use and maybe get those fluids past the poorly named p-trap? I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the idea of needing to see fluids flow through the plumbing system, although the use of a garden hose valve would allow one to release and view the flow after completing "it's" business. Concerning the leaking waste water issues, I guess you don't have to actually stop at a dump site to empty it that way. Maybe "it" has got an idea there.

If "it" can put it down his sink and through the reducers and past the transparent tubing I think he's got it made. Besides, if you can put it through a sink you obviously don't need a black tank.

His plan is to have a composting toilet (a bucket) for #2 but to use the sink to keep #1 & #2 separate. That means that the tank under the bus would be a yellowish-grey tank.
