Cool plumbing and rust protection

Hey There bus friends, I am new to this forum and also new to owning a bus. I bought one this summer and live in the pacific northwest so rust is definitely an issue on the underside. I have very limited funds at the moment and ideally would like to sandblast and tar the underside before I start plumbing everything in (ie holding tanks) however that's just not an option for me right now. Any ideas on whether or not i can find a cheap way to protect it or if just going ahead with my plumbing will lead to issues later if i want to do a major rust protecting coating later? any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated! thanks!

Spraying any exposed areas with a rust converter, Prep and Etch/Ospho, should stop the rust from gaining ground.
