Tips for installing Dometic 510

I am getting ready to install a new toilet in a new location (Dometic 510 china bowl), do you have any tips that I should know. I have never done it. I have a black water tank to install with plenty of room for my lines. What is the ideal size for pipes, do I need a macerator in the line, and which side of the bus does the dump valve need to come out on ? What is the best type of dump valve and hose to use? These may be stupid questions, but I just want to be sure I don't mess something up. I have read some of the threads on this forum and they have helped also. Thanks, Marty

Have not installed mine yet, but the drain definitely goes on the left side of the bus.

I have a book that explains all this plumbing and wiring and so forth very well. It is "How To Build Low Cost Motorhomes" by Louis C. McClure, 2004 edition edited by Ben Rosander. You can buy it on the internet if you do a bit of searching on "bus conversions" and that sort of things.

Check out poop sheet by phred:

Might not answer your question specifically, but "Macerator and other sewer stuff" has a lot of info for you...
