No worries on the spears, folks, I welcome them! That's why I made an account, partly to find out what I've done wrong, but also to document those things for others newbies to find. I've ordered the correct adapter and hose, so when we get to that point, we'll just be gravity feeding straight into the dump valve. Unfortunately I was only able to go with 3/4" but it's better than nothing.


As far as the solids go, we do extensive composting on our property, so we're all set there.

Regarding dumping grey water: One of the youtube bus life channels I watch mentioned that skooliepalooza had a urine smell problem because of all the folks dealing with the #1 from their natures head toilets...


Sounds yucky. I think most folks are going to want/need more capacity than the little jugs are going to offer...
