Water pump and accumalator

Is it a mistake installing my pump and accumulator under the bus? All opinions are welcomed !!!

Sure would be quieter down there but you'd need to keep them from freezing and protect them from road rash.

That’s a good point Jack. Are talking about when I’m out on the road? There is a reason why I live in south Texas. It’s hot as hell here. I pretty much stay south of Dallas during the winter time. lol. Everything I’m looking at would make it a lot simpler underneath. My main concern is the exhaust pipe. It would be about a foot off to the side Of the pipe. I know I could put a heat shield to give it some protection. I had planned on out a sheet of galvanized sheet metal anyway to protect it from road debris.

You could build a "box" for the underside and insulate it, if you ever venture into freezing temp territory.
If you go that route, simply build it big enough to contain the water lines as well so they aren't out in the cold...

Thanks Pete. I believe that is exactly what I will do. I don’t know what is though about plumbing that kicks my ass, but it usually does. I think it’s all those damn fittings.
