What are these?

I'm assuming these are water holding tanks, but what would they specifically be for? Is one a holding tank and the other a grey water tank? They came with my bus but were not attached. So I don't know if I should even hold on to these.

I kind of want to say the first one is a black water holding tank and the second one is a gray water holding tank probably intended to 'stack' atop the first one. Both look as if they'd be oriented 90 degrees from their pictured positions when installed. That would put that hard pipe with the lever valve at the bottom for dumping the waste and the flex pipe above it to collect overflow from the gray water to rinse the black water tank after dumping. The second tank looks wider and shallower which if it was going in my RV would make sense because of the shape of the basement considering the truck's frame. The divert valve would allow gray water to be sent to either tank or if gray tank was full to overflow into black tank.

Just my guess.

So would it be worth hanging on to these? We plan on having compost toilets, so I don't see a need for black water. And we haven't made it to the installation point of building so not like I have a plan at this point of where I would put any of the plumbing.

Probably not. Might be worth something to the right person if you have time to hold onto them until you find that person.
