48 Volt System

For those of you thinking of going with a 48 volt solar system here is an interesting link.

Solar & DC Air Conditioners | 48v DC Solar & Telecom Air Conditioner Heat Pump | Off-Grid Air Conditioning

Interesting! I've always been a fan of the easily reversible heat pump / AC units. Too bad it's not 24 V, I feel like that would appeal to a larger audience....they probably don't want to draw 40+ amps @ 24 V though.

Did you see a price anywhere?

Interesting for sure. I don't know many who are running 48v on their buses, but eliminating the conversion from DC-AC at an inverter and back to DC in the drive probably yields some good efficiency gains.

Not bad! This might be going in the next build.
