Best place to get AC parts?

My bus came with 2 Carrier AC units. They were empty when I got the bus and located poorly so they were temporarily removed. Now I would like to reinstall at least one up front but parts will be needed.

The evaporator is in great shape but some of the external parts will need replaced. The fans on the condensers do not work and the dryer is rusted out.

Where can I get parts without breaking the bank?

Look on Facebook

Ask around here for parts that others have taken out. Think about buying parts new for years of trouble free use.

I have found bus ac system parts on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist

Also salvage yards and scrap metal yards.

condenser fans.. if none of them work.. its more likely the relay.. its the 'CR' on the evaporator control board (it may still be in the bus unless you pulled it.. the board). otherwise I use SPAL branded fans.. the condenser fans pretty much match up to standard High performance High CFM models of standard makers. . SPAL is high quality and lasts well.

Transartic sells OEM carrier style parts if you need things like plastic covers, blower assemblies etc..

Line and hoses i always email ProAir LLC or if you have part numbers you can call their parts department directly with part numbers (you can look up actual ProAir part numbers for fittings, hose etc on their website)..

not sure what all you need external wise? but I probably have some of that stuff laying around..

COmpressors I always buy Genuine Sanden.. if I have a pic and part number of an existing compressor I can cross it up for a genuine Sanden which can be bought online.. I always have a couple spares on the shelf in my garage if you need one fast.

I have 2 units in my bus that I am removing. The rear blows cold. I think the frt had a freon leak at the expansion valve. You are welcome to anything you need. I am in Central Ohio

The frt system was empty, There was a loose crimp at the expansion valve. The rear system is fully charged though. Where are you located?

This site below (a) helped me figure out what I actually needed, and (b) got me the parts I needed when the local hose rebuilder could not.

Then I got my own AC hose-fitting crimper (for beadlock fittings) on eBay (deluxe for like $120 or something) and did the hoses myself. That was the best way, because then I could clock the angle of the 90° fittings correctly on the end of the hose after I ran it through the body.

coldhose.com

(it looks like they just redid their site, so hope it is still as helpful)

I found the cheapest hose on ebay (genuine Goodyear) and at Summit Racing, but it took 2 or 3 sources to get me all the sizes I needed.

I pulled all three systems out of our rig. All Carrier. I have everything (except compressors) including boards, evaporators, condensers, and even the lines. They're just in my way but I'm in Oregon so shipping might be silly.
