Can I move skirt Condensers?

Hi all. My bus came with 2 engine driven ac systems, 1 working better than the other, but both work. My bus is 29’ long and the condensers occupy 7’ on each side behind the rear wheels. Inside, there are 2 large returns, and ductwork running front to back on both sides above the windows.

My initial thought was to strip it all out to gain the space - inside and beneath, however I’ve read a bunch of threads on the subject and am reconsidering that approach.

Can I move both condensers into one skirt cavity? I think I know the answer, but hey, maybe someone has done it and had success.

Can I move them to the roof?

More likely, I’m going to remove one of the 2 systems and rework the ductwork to feed just the travel seating area of the bus. Perhaps a few fans can be used to keep the cooled air up front. Look for the the removed system in the ‘For Sale’ section next spring. It’ll be reasonably priced.
