Furnace and Water Heater is same box???

Hello and thanks for looking:

I’m thinking of putting my Big RV furnace is the same box/compartment as my big RV water heater.

Is this bad practice?
I do know that the appliances “purge themselves” before a light cycle....but.

Me no like go boom!

Thanks,
Shay

Do you have brand and models?

Initial opinion is that it’s fine. An Installation manual check is a good idea though.

I don’t think what you have on ignition is a purge. It’s a prime. It’s an initial jet of propane that is ignited by a pezio igniter.
