Heater Line Coolant Leak

So, this just happened, as I'm getting ready to take a drive. Looks and smells like coolant. Coming from a heater line, just in front of the a/c compressors. Honestly don't need front heater, at least not this simmer. Can I just cap those 2 lines? Or better to connect them with a "u", so they'll keep circulating fluid?

if you dont need heat for the summer you can close the valves in the engine compartment so no coolanrt flows in any of the heating system.. then fix the line at your convenience

I'm afraid of turning off the wrong valve and blowing everything up. 😕

I guess it's one of these?
Maybe just try them? It's not like the coolant is gushing out. I have plenty left in the reservoir
