They are called "starting" batteries for good reason. They are not designed to be drained over a period of more than a few seconds at a time. You can, however, install one of the new combination start/deep cycle units for your start battery and get a little more out of it. But...I'm with Twigg...the only right way to go about running any house electrics is off of a house battery or battery bank.
