On the road - A/C drain hoses clogged. Help please.

What's the best way to clean out the "stock" A/C drain hoses? There spilling into the bus :/

These ceiling doohikies. I took the front units drain hose and can pretty easily blow through it, but it doesn't drain on its own. So when I start moving it was a freaking waterfall. Super humid day out too - so maybe it was just a bad combination of condensation buildup and relative humidity??

Hmmm. Take the cover off and see if the drain pan has anything growing in it. Could be it needs a cleaning.

Both mine needed the drain hoses clamped on w/hose clamps, no more leaks inside.

many times the drain clogs up at the evaporator itself.. take the cover off and usually you can see the mess in the tray below the coil.. Trans/Air units seem to be the worst for mold smell and clogged evaporator drains.. my unit has 2 drain holes with a hose going across and then T's into the down hose.. if you have that setup then likely the cross hose is clogged and you get mold smell and sloshing around. its a good idea to pull the cover off anyway and clean out the dirt from the coils.

Fixed the elevation of the hoses. Crisis averted.

ha! yep yours is just like i expected!.. they put 2 drains in so when you accel / decel the water doesnt splash out into the bus from the tray..

My bilge system on my boat had that same problem. You know what they say, an extra inch or two makes all the difference!

a wet/dry shop vac cleans them out from the bottom end for temp fix til you get home
