propane tank issues

well, i am trying to move my propane tank and equipment from my old mobile home/food truck. to my new e450 food truck. got everything out side hooked up to check out before installation. Tank has gas. when i turn valve on, gauge goes up to about a 1/4. think it should be closer to full. when i turn on propane to any equipment the gauge slowly goes to 0 and i have no propane at appliance. i have tried reseting the regulator, same issues. pics included.

I can't tell from your pics is the tank in the same spacial orientation as it was in your old truck? Some tanks are built to stand on end and others must lie on their side in order to deliver gaseous fuel --not liquid fuel.

Please have that system installed by a certified gas tech. A food truck? Your safety and the safety of the public should be your first concern. Very concerned by what I can see in your pics. White Teflon tape is not certified for gas. Galvanized fence staples to secure brass and copper lines? Sealant tape should not used for flared fittings.

Install black or galvanized 1/2” pipe to within 2 feet of the appliance and make the appliance connection with copper tube with flares.

I know this doesn’t help with your question. The only thing I got for you on that is, in a wide open area, far away from any source of ignition, use the divide an conquer method, starting at the propane Tank connector. Just run it and see if you get gas flow. Then on down the line, add the regulator and so on. I’m guessing the connection at the tank. Just a guess

Not sure I would agree with the black pipe without more info. Is this food truck mobile or stationary? I think ridged pipe may not be the solution for a moving vehicle.

Yep Danjo has it.
Just found the Mobile Food Truck regulations for Ohio(long read) and solid pipe is to be used outside under the truck to a tee branch line thru the floor to the appliance.
