This one I have is right at 18 inches. I have another that is physicxally identical, but slighty different tare weights. Certified in October 2011. When it ages out I will exchange it for a Blue Rhino. I had an older one with a slightly taller collar, but I don't think they are certifiable any more. I only have a truck camper and do weekends and summer vacations. I weight the tank before each trip to know how much is left. I can do a winter 3 day boondocking weekend on the Kentucky/Tennessee line and only use 3 pounds, running furnace, water heater and fridge.
