Radiant heating and tankless water system

Hey all,

Im looking to have my cake and eat it too. Im looking at the idea of radiant floor heat via a tankless electric water heater. Im looking for anyone that has experience in this system and can help me on size and electrical requirements. I see alot of reallly outdated posts on this subject so Im hoping for a fresh input of info. I have about 3kw of solar and 1100ah of lead acid battery storage.. TIA

Not sure on exact numbers but electric water heaters use a ton of energy. I would imagine they'd strain even the best of battery banks. Propane might be a better option if you're boondocking a lot.
