I removed my rear ac and heat units. I plan to put in a mini split. Are you going to do a video of how you do it? Or are you following someone else's instructions? Or do you already have experience doing this? I have a son with electrical experience and training, but he doesn't have much time. So I want to see if I can do this with a little help or if I need to pay someone to do it for me.

I totally missed the rest of this thread.. I definitely need brackets for a T-444E..

the dual-compressor setup brackets are what I need the most.. like the ones the original post refers to, i have a single system now but the bus needs a second one for the front.

When you removed the freon lines from the air conditioner its self did anything come out? I want to rotate my AC unit instead of being in center facing front, turn it 45 degrees to face side to side. I need to remove the one line coming up the passenger side rear corner floor, reroute it under neath and fish it up the driver side rear corner with other line in order to get enough slack for the new location. If I have to recharge the system its not that big of a deal but I was hoping I could just remove it and not having liquid coming out or create air in the line and make the AC malfunction somehow down the road. Thank you

if your A/C works (and even if it doesnt). that refrigerant is under high pressure and can injur you if you just recklessly take the line off.. on a warm day sitting still its likely 80-90 PSI of pressure in those lines.. mixed with oil too..

if you want to take it apart you need to have the unit recovered at a shop.. move your line, then have it vacuum evacuated and recharged..

also you can turn your unit sideways however make sure that its not tilted differently than it was as they have drain lines for the water condensate.. if you tilt it one direction or the other too much the unit wont drain and the water will drip inside the bus..

Wow, great info. I never thought about having to keep the same tilt too. Thank you. So I'm thinking of buying something like this

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Is this what I need?
