Shut the front door

What’s the best way to seal up the front door on a bus? Or replace it?

Welding. But I suspect you still want to use is so that's out.
There are many styles of door and thousands of schemes for sealing them.
My 96 AmTran seals pretty well but all the factory seals are in good condition (or were properly replaced before I got it).
Pics are always helpful for getting ideas.

The favorite method I have seen, and I’ll likely duplicate is to weld or bolt it together so it doesn’t fold, hinge it so it swings open and then use traditional weatherstripping around the outside and extend the bottom outside a little to have it overhand the steps so rain doesn’t pool there. You’ll still have a poorly insulated single pane glass door but it looks the same which for some reason I like.

If you are saying eliminate it then I went to a junkyard and drilled out the rivets on a 36" panel and supported it with a superstructure which turned out well, so well some novices thing it's factory. Check out Sportyricks bus. If keeping I would say a nice RV door always looks good.
