I have thought about using threadlock in the rivnuts but one concern is that the bond between the screw and the rivnut could get stronger than the bond between the rivnut and its surrounding material.

If I needed to replace a solar panel I don't want to risk breaking a rivnut loose and having it spin in its mounting hole. Using epoxy (JB Weld?) in the mounting hole might be a good way to strengthen the bond between the rivnut and the material is crimped to.
