Wallas diesel oven and cooktop
At first I wanted to get a Dickinson diesel stove/oven, but I don’t like how they require a woodstove-like chimney. I have also heard they are meant to be run for a long time like a wood stove, and not just for cooking, to be used as a heat source. This would obviously be a problem during the summer. Then I found the wallas diesel oven. I think there is only one model, the 86d. This is the oven only, so I would also get one of their diesel cooktops, of which there are a few different sizes. The oven does not pull combustion air from the outside and the cooktops don’t say. Both use an exhaust tube that can be run out the side, as they are forced air. Does anybody have any experience with these wallas diesel appliances? Does anybody know if the cooktops get combustion air from outside, or know of any other brands that do?
