BlueFire Apps Version 10

"The development environment used to create BlueFire Apps was bought out by Microsoft and support will end at the end of this year."

If you use BlueFire read the forum post https://bluefire-llc.com/store/board...86/version-100

But why is support ending? Changing IDE's for development shouldn't end support. Sounds like he's wanting to get out of the business.

If the product ends, at the very least he's willing to put in some more development times for bug fixes before it ends.

Doesn't look like he is abandoning the platform. He has already rewritten the whole application for V10.0. I bet he was using Xamarin which was an older way for Windows developers to write windows, android, and apple applications. He cant just keep making minor changes to his codebase to release updates and patches and had to rewrite all the code in a modern framework like flutter or .NET Core to keep compiling.

The downside is that early releases may be more buggy as the developer is flushing things out in the new framework. The upside is that things should be faster a bit more optimized as the developer has a chance to clean things up and design them better.
