Dash screen

Just a small 8" touch screen for my gauge pod. I have it mounted to the steering column so it moves up and down with it. I will mount a larger touch screen off to the right by the door handle for navigation/ entertainment. I will be using a thinkcentre m900 with Driveline frontend. It can do up to 4 cameras and voice activated.I will have a 400 watt amp for music and movies.

Thanks cadillackid.
I know you do a lot of work out on the road. Is it worth trying to get a mobile broadband card or just connect to my phone?

my screens connect to the Mikrotik router i have set up.. I have one in each bus.. one has AT&T and Tmobile wit ha failover and the redbyrd has just tmobile.. in that bus im using a newer Quectel modem (RM520) that supports all the current bands and 5G.. uses 4 antennas.. it works really well except in extreme remote areas... being my tablets are windows.. my biggest issue is GPS integration.. trying to find GPS software and USB GPS receivers that integrate is near impossible these days.. everything is iOS or android based for navigation.

my RM520 on the MT supports NMEA outbut on a virtual Serial port.. so I tried using the Tibbo driver to a com port to retrieve it.. that works but google maps doesnt recognize there is a GPS present..

My tablet setup for my dash (work in progress) are all cheap Android devices that connect to the bus' "house wifi" which uses a Fortigate device that has both AT&T and Google Fi (Tmobile) LTE failover. I havent' sprung the $ yet to upgrade it to 5G capable. I have a post about the setup on my build thread.

So much easier than turning my hotspot on each time and killing the battery on my phone and I can flip priority at any given time between AT&T/Tmobile depending on my data usage
