I suppose I should be asking . . .

Who has or has not had success with VOIP and videoconferencing, remote desktop work during business hours? With which category of service?

Sounds like you’re a residential customer in Colorado? If so, that explains why you’re getting those consistent speeds (and reasonable) speeds. I’m an RV customer and am therefore subject to deprioritization during those peak hours. If I was west of the Mississippi, like you, I would probably be seeing similar speeds that you are, even during peak periods because demand in the Western US is lower than the East.

ethernet is a basic Need for me.. (I think theres a dongle for the new dishy?).. but running phone systems and IP phones for my work in the DEV bus means wired.. with my cell service its as easy as a Mikrotik Router with a SIM.. but would be much harder to overcome completely no wired if dishy doesnt at least have a dongle. (ok that sounds wierd... Dishy with a Dongle)

💯 Save a Benjamin

SpaceX is now offering a $100 Discount on Starlink Dish at both Best Buy & Home Depot.

Earlier this month, SpaceX began offering the dish through both Best Buy and Home Depot for $599.

Today, both retailers' websites adjusted the purchase price for the Standard Starlink Dish from $599 to $499. Possibly, in conjuction with their Memorial Day Sales. It's unclear if these prices will last beyond Monday.

Both retailers also appear to have Starlink units in physical stores, ready for pickup.

Interested buyers ought to first check the official Starlink Map ( & verify their address can receive Starlink service, before purchasing.

SpaceX was originally selling the Standard Starlink dish for $499, however raised the price to $599, last year. Customers pay $90 or $120 per month to receive Internet with the Starlink home plan, depending on their location.
