Brake booster

Do I have to pull brake booster to replace seal between booster and mastercylinder

i dont think you would but if you are getting fluid there then you probably need a master cylinder?
and might want to pull the booster to see how much fluid is in it.
should be seperately sealed systems.

If the master cylinder goes bad it leaks brake fluid on the seal in booster, then the booster goes south and quits working, been there, you will need to change them both. Look for brake fluid running down underneath the master cylinder, if so they both are bad. Depending on the unit it's quite expensive to buy a rebuilt booster, if you can even find one. My 1 1/2 ton truck brake booster cost almost $1000 and that was years ago.

My booster was leaking power steering fluid-- running down the firewall-- I got a reman unit from these folks. There is a number cast into the booster on one side-- you order that same number.
