Hello,
I (stupidly) left my bus sitting for a year while I did demolition and when I went to move it the other day I found that the rear brake lights no longer work. They will turn on with the headlights, so I know it isn't the bulbs being bad.
I looked at my fuses and verified that those are all okay. There is a yellow/green (not looking at it this second) light that, if I'm reading the sticker right, supposedly turns on when the brakes are engaged that is remaining off, so I'm thinking a sensor somewhere is either stuck or dirty or something. The lights worked when it was driven last.
I've got air brakes and there are no connections going straight to the pedal itself. This means I've got a sensor
somewhere in my air system that turns these on, right?
I have a 2007 Thomas Saf-T Liner HDX. Any clue where this sensor is or how I can find it? I've crawled under there and haven't seen anything obvious, but there's a chance I just looked over it. I think I'm looking for part #86480589 here
