Nice bus!! My dad and uncle built these two back in the 80's I have my dad's and my youngest son has my uncle's. Dad's bus was always being used so it was kept up, Uncle's bus sat for 5 years and the mice got in it and trashed it. We ended up having to strip it out to the bare walls and he is starting over from scratch with it. When you convert it make sure you seal behind/under all your cabinetry so mice cant get back/under them.

Thank you! Those are too cool! Awesome that they were kept in the family. Is there a place to see the rebuild? We'd love to watch the adventure!

P.S. Great tip, we appreciate it.

Christopher are they getting rare?

I think that Christopher wants one

Congratulations on your find!

I am curious...what did it run to get it shipped from NM back to the East Coast?

Making a beautiful bus even more so.
I did not realize you were in Georgia. Come by Savannah any time and we can share a meal.

We're excited to say the Part 2 video from our vintage GM Bus Conversion is live! In this video, we bring our 1961 GM Fishbowl / New Look bus into the shop, we fix an air leak, remove the windows, do a ton of body work, remove paint, replace rivets, finish the rust treatment, remove the shroud and remove the a/c unit. It's been a labor of love, but we're so excited for everything to come!
