1969 Dodge

We just brought home our 1969 Dodge shorty! It has a Carpenter body. It was used as a RV repair service vehicle and was a daily driver until about3 years ago. It was well maintained and runs and drives great for its age. The wife and I are going to turn it into a mini RV. Her name is Dodger. More pics to come soon!

Welcome! --- And an excellent find! Love the old iron. We want to hear more about your plans as well as engine & tranny details (a Cummins 6BT would fit nicely in there...).

Thanks

We believe it to be the original 318 engine and transmission. No current plans for an upgrade, seems to run fairly strong. This belonged to one my friends dad and he said he drove it every day for almost 20 years.

I have always considered the 318 to be the best V8 Chrysler ever built. They can run strong and go forever with just reasonable care. That said, I still prefer diesels when there are a lot of miles planned.

Please do let us know what you have in mind for that old girl.
