I do not have a city bus, (yellow skoolie) however they're very nice. Others here do. Is yours a T-30 City Cruiser? Please tell us more about your ride.

1981 TCM city bus I believe it's 30 ft 6 v 92 Detroit Diesel with a 545 Allison automatic four speed fully converted king bed two twins conversion to table on-demand water heater.

Next next job to complete will be mini cub fireplace

Two stoke. That's a good combination of mechanicals. Sounds like you've been working on her for a while. How long have you it?

That's how its done. Usually lone, too. Lol. I'm a newbie, about 2 months. Lots of great resources here if you search thru the threads. Its easier to use Google's engine by typing

or whatever subject. Once you have five posts you can attach pictures. You really have something to see, not plain shelf vanilla. I've read many posts about your engine & trans combo. All good, and detailed. There are some very knowledgeable folks here that are so quite helpful. I look forward to seeing more of what you are doing.

We have an old 1949 GM "Old Look" transit bus (a 4509 model) that's not currently running, but we just picked up a new engine for it and the swap is scheduled for the week after next. This should be a cool old bus, when running!


And...we also just bought a 2001 Phantom like JamesKS mentioned. My MIL needs a walker or wheelchair and we'd looked at school buses with lifts, but this Phantom has a very cool lift integrated into the front stairs. It doesn't intrude into the bus and you'd never know it was there, unless you knew about it. It should make a good accessible RV we can use to take her on some outings. JamesKS, I'll look forward to seeing what you do with yours!
