I finally figured out how to link pics from my Google Photos so I thought I would share some pics of the bus and the infamous bird strike.

Reading back thru my posts here, I said I felt like I had "good visibility". It doesn't look so good in these photos...

And here is the offending grouse. After crashing thru the windshield it bounced off the driver side window, and then wedged between the seat and the bulkhead.

Here is my "repair". I drove the bus ~1500 miles like this. I still can't believe I never got pulled over.

One more pic of the bus parked at the top of my driveway. The neighbors are loving me for sure.

I present you with the "most innovative use of a duck tape"
:biggrin"...I bet you didn't even celebrate your victory with a big pot of...ummm...bird soup

That Gorilla Tape is some serious stuff. No soup, but I wish I had thrown the bird in the storage bay and brought it home. I would have had it stuffed and mounted it in the bus.

You really know how to tenderize a bird.

I believe the recipe is for pheasant under glass, not through the glass.

Next time put that bird on the exhaust manifold for about 45 minutes.
