1995 Chevy G30 5.7

Just bought it off the Proxibid site. Going to pick it up next week. Appears to be a bit taller than most and have new tires on it so $1700 seemed reasonable to me. About $2300 after driving it back to New Mexico realistically though. Still cheaper than the crap I’ve been seeing on Craigslist down here.

Plan is to truly gut it and either spray foam or rigid foam it. Not sure yet. Back folding porch and side porch, for outdoor shower. Small kitchen, bed, and all wood cedar or pine interior. Not sure about a toilet inside?

I also plan on a fantastic fan, fridge, lights, and full off grid solar. Budget it $10,000 so hopefully I can do it correctly.

I’m a wildland firefighter so once winter hits the wife and I can hit the road for 5 months before I have to work again.

We have camped comfortably in my old Tacoma so this should be better but still a challenge I’m sure. We also have 2 dogs which is why it needs to be well insulated and why we are not just taking my Trooper instead.

Anyway any pics, suggestions, comments, or tips are welcome.

Thanks
