Getting started on my first shuttle project. I have a million questions. Should I start a build thread and put my questions there?
Bought it a few hours away for $2800. It is far from perfect but it made it home. I had to do a lot of stuff right away and used various shops for a lot of it. It couldn't even pass inspection.
- Fuel hose from gas fillup to the tank replaced (was leaking)
- Weld holes in exhaust and where exhaust connects to manifold
- replaced all ball joints
- back brakes
- replaced all signal lights that were out
- new wipers and wiper fluid pump
- new windshield
Today I got the tags!
Before I get to far into the customization what would you recommend I do engine wise? Change oil of course, but what about coolant and other fluids? I am far from a mechanic but if i can't watch a video to learn how I can take it back to the shop. I don't know how long it was sitting before I test drove it but it started up when i got there and drove 3 hours home. I assume the guy had been working on it since he was switching out a battery (i have many questions about the two batteries in this thing).
